Wizardry

Confession: I haven't seen any of the Harry Potter movies. And I haven't read any of the books either. I know, I know. But I am all curled up in a ball of shameful envy over how can one girl be so gorgeous. I'm excited for her impending stint at Columbia so that I can add another star to scan the Manhattan streets for. It is always strange to me when I see celebrities in person and realize that they are a real person and not some hologram or robot.

Your song ring

I love this ring from Rickson Jewellery. You can engrave whatever lyrics you want on the inside. So precious! Do you have or have you ever had a song with someone? This ring makes me want one! I suppose such things have to happen organically...

International real estate!

On the NYTimes site today I spotted this apartment featured in their Great Homes section. It's a 2BR in Florence with a RIDICULOUS view of the Duomo. Oh my gosh. I die! I studied in Florence for three months and fell head over heels in love with the city. I walked by the Duomo every day on my way to class and every time I could have fainted it was so gorgeous. Can you imagine looking out your window and seeing that?? I see a rooftop with a trash can on top of it out of my window. Yum. Now who has $1,288,000 lying around? Let's be friends.

Write away

I am head over heels for the newest space to be added at The Selby: fashion PR girls Aimee Bayliss and Anne Ryan and designer Nathan Smith's Australian home. There are so many inspirational decorating ideas here. I'm particularly obsessed with all the blackboard surfaces!

I don't think it's any big secret that I'm pretty much counting down the seconds until I move out of my stud-ridden shoebox of an apartment. And let me tell you, when this magical day happens, I am creating the themed art wall of my dreams framed with these bad boys from 2 Dogs Wood Working. Don't they have the most wonderful carefree Cape Cod vibe?
